ORTUS-MS LLC Fined 1 Million Rubles in the Case of Yaroslav Makarov and Mikhail Artemenko

😓 The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Okrug conducted an audit of the implementation of anti-corruption legislation.

It was established that in May 2020, a representative of a commercial organization from Ekaterinburg (director of ORTUS-MS LLC Yaroslav Yuryevich Makarov, acting in the interests of beneficiary Andrey Borisovich Bril) transferred to the head of the ophthalmological center of a healthcare institution operating on the territory of the autonomous okrug funds in a total amount of 1 million rubles.

The reward was intended for assistance in restricting competition in the procurement of medical equipment and consumables.

> 😓 The Prosecutor's Office initiated an administrative offense case under Part 1 of Art. 19.28 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (illegal remuneration on behalf of a legal entity).

😩 Based on the results of its consideration, the organization was fined 1 million rubles.

> Earlier, in the criminal case against the bribe-taker Mikhail Artemenko, the court issued a guilty verdict. The illegal monetary reward was confiscated.
